Best Mother’s Day gift 

Though!! I have complied a long list of Mother’s Day gifts that I love but for me, best Mother’s Day gift that you can give is your time and a heart to talk with your Mother. I feel blessed that I get to see my Mother daily and chill out with her over a nice cup of tea. :).  I feel gifts are meaningless if they are not thoughtful and does not reflect the emotions of the occasion or your vibrations with that person.  I think a 15 minute conversation with your Mother regardless of your relations will be an excellent Mother’s Day gift.  

This Mother’s Day, My Mother said, she will like to cook for all of us and I think that’s the best gift we can give her because it gives her pleasure and Mothers are known to have nurturing and giving sentiments. I have seen her the happiest when she cooks for us. She has actually made a make shift wood fire pit and she will cook outside on a wood fire pit and in India we call it “Choolah” or tandoor, Will post a picture of her cooking on choolah later.

Mother’s Day 2020

It has been a while since I last did a blog post and I hope you will enjoy this short and sweet Mother’s Day gift guide. Most of the things that I have listed have already been gifted to my Mother over the years and most of these items I use them as well. 

With all the social distancing in place, It will be lot different this year. For almost a decade all us that will be me, my Dad and my sisters along with their families met up either at the house, in restaurant or sometimes for outdoor picnic. I am hoping that my local sisters 🙂  with their families will come and we will have outdoor front patio party in my parents house with adequate social distancing.

These silicon baking mats come very handy as I have used them many times. I don’t have to use nonstick cooking sprays, oil and parchment paper and have actually baked cookies and roasted veggies using these mats only without a baking tray. They clean very easily as well.

iTouch Slim Activity Tracker with Interchangeable Band Set • $39.99

Its a very functional replacement for Iphone watch for those like me who don’t wear iPhone watch :).  I have one of this and it tracks my sleep, activity, oxygen sat, BP, heart rate steps and has various other features. some cheaper alternatives are listed below.

John Frieda Hot Air Spin Brush • John Frieda • $48.25

I love this hot air brush which saves me so much time in styling my hair. I don’t usually style my hair but after my twice a week shampoo, I use the spin brush for extra volume and it keeps my hair all bouncy till my next hair wash.
