I am Manisha, heart and mind behind this blog based in sunny Tampa, FL. I am an avid learner and consider myself as a lifelong student but I have many hobbies as well, which you will get to see through my blog posts. Born and raised in India, I moved to this country as a healthcare professional. I love spending time with my family and luckily my parents, two of my three sisters live in Tampa as well. I am a strong supporter of The Humane Society and have rescued many cats and kittens.
As I share my love for beauty, fashion, DIY, travel, wellness and recipes; I hope to provide useful information or just a good enjoyable read. I love talking to people and being able to connect socially with others gives me lot of happiness. Fueling my curiosity for knowledge, I designed this blog after reading innumerable articles online and reaching out to bloggers over the period of many months.
ModLotus is a lifestyle blog with happy dose of lifestyle, beauty, fashion, DIY, travel, recipes, and all things beautiful that touch my life. I created this blog because I noticed how much I loved to talk about things 🙂 and how much my family/friends/patients enjoyed listening to me. For example; if somebody complimented me on my dress, I would just love to give all details rather than just saying plain thank you. Same thing will be with any new trip, new hobby, new recipe or anything new that I tried. These interactions not only made me and my friends happy but there was something new that each of us learned out of these happy encounters with shared joy. So idea of documenting my life’s journey as a creative outlet was born with only one niche- ‘all things beautiful’.
With intent that happy thoughts that inspire me may inspire others as well, I would like to make this an interactive blog via comments or social media; an interactive medium where we all can learn something new along with happy doses of inspiration and excitement. I can talk about hours on this page, but I have included few things about me and this blog for now. I will update this periodically, so do come by and visit this page.
